DUNES WORKSHOP

Dunes Workshop is a cross-disciplinarily design and research studio initiated by Feiyue Chen and Yalun Li. Our projects include architecture and urban design, graphic design and book design. Dunes Workshop regularly publishes original content online mainly on WeChat Official Account. Our researches focus on the Internet, virtual and physical spaces, and contemporary urban issues.
li yalun is an architect and an artist. She holds a M.Arch II degree from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design (GSD) , and a B.Arch degree from Syracuse University (Philosophy minor). Her works explore the boundary between the mundane and the fantastical, real and imaginary, architecture and narrative. Her research interests include urban housing, collective living and personal identity in posthuman world.
CHEN Feiyue holds a Master of Science in Architecture Studies (SMArchS Architecture and Urbanism) from MIT. His research focuses on contemporary urban issues through the lens of civic culture and collective memory.
